Diverse and Beautiful: Welcome to the VillageQ Directory

http://vantagehsi.com/avoid-feelings-powerlessness-tips-mind-stay-empowered-caring-loved/home-health-care-our-location welcome I like to save up the blog announcements to post a group of them together. Sometimes, however, I get a bit delayed because my 3-year-old is being overly energetic. I have been sitting on these for a while— but I just can’t keep them from you any longer–the stories are too sweet and the photos too beautiful.

This update particularly amazing in the diversity of families it highlights, our families. Enjoy!

  • More Than Words: The story of Kristin and Georgia’s journey through motherhood, marriage and family. They met at work in 2006 and were married in a sunset ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on November 7, 2009 joined by 40 of their closest family and friends! They were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Grace Elizabeth, on March 7th, 2012! The most important thing to both of them is family and that is why they decided to start a blog. They are excited to share their lives with those dearest to them as they journey through parenthood!
  • Our Family Matters: This blog is unique and completely fascinating. It consists of letters written between a mother and her openly gay son. Chris is married to his partner and they have two adopted children. From insights into their family and family history to current politics, the conversation and their connection is more than endearing.
  • Giggle and Hugs: This is a beautiful blog by a talented photographer, Crystal. She lives in Toronto with her wife, Jessica, and their beautiful daughter, Lily. “While I always feel as though no experience is complete until I’ve written about it, what brings any experience together for me is having a photo that speaks volumes about what was happening during that time. I have always felt that there is just something magical that happens when you look at a photograph that you truly love: the emotions become real again and you’re brought right back to that moment in time. I love nothing more than to capture those moments in my photos.”
  • Transparenthood: Leslie is the mother of a transgender child, Sam. It is Leslie’s hope that in sharing their uncommon journey, it will help families in the same situation find solace, and society at large to learn acceptance. Leslie has is an activist and has also been a guest blogger here at VillageQ.

Don’t be shy now!  Stop by the above blogs and leave a message saying that VillageQ sent you. And don’t forget to visit the rest of the directory and invite your favorite bloggers to submit their blog.
